Early Start/ABA

Early Start is Promise ABA’s Early Intervention program for clients newly diagnosed with ASD and developmental delays between the ages of 0-3. Promise ABA uses an Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy approach to assess, identify needs, target behaviors, and create individualized goals to meet the child’s developmental milestones. Promise ABA also works alongside speech, occupational, and physical therapists as a part of coordination of care.

Adaptive Skills/DIR Floortime

The Adaptive Skills program focuses on domains such as communication, social skills, self-care, play-leisure, and behavior through a DIR Floortime therapy approach. Promise ABA performs a Functional Emotional Assessment and creates a Sensory Profile to identify the child’s needs. Behaviors are also targeted through sensory regulation and individualized goals are created to meet the child’s developmental milestones. The Adaptive Skills program is available to children ages 0 and up, and when needed Promise ABA offers a transitional plan to school-age Adaptive Skills (3-13).

Supported Living Services (SLS)

Supported Living Services is a part of Promise ABA’s adult services program (ages 18 and up). Promise ABA’s Supported Living Services assist adults diagnosed with ASD and related developmental disorders with the following, but not limited to: assisting with selecting and moving into a new home, choosing personal attendants and housemates, acquiring household furnishings, common daily living activities and emergencies, becoming a participating member in the community, and managing personal financial affairs as well as other supports.

Independent Living Skills (ILS)

Independent Living Skills is a part of Promise ABA’s adult services program (ages 18 and up). Promise ABA’s Independent Living Skills program promotes independence in managing individual schedules, time management, problem solving, decision making, finding work, paying bills, managing budgets, grocery shopping, meal planning, intimate relationships and social life, health and safety, daily living skills, creating a circle of support, and self-advocacy—to name a few.

Social Skills

Promise ABA’s Social Skills program is available to three age groups: Early Intervention (3-7), School Age (7-12), Transitional Age (13-18), and Adults (18 and up). Social Skills is held in a group setting of 2-10 participants with support from Social Skills facilitators/therapists. Social Skills participants attend and follow a year-long curriculum, practice through role play and social interaction with their peers. When goals have been mastered, participant graduate out of the social skills program or the program can be repeated up to two times.

Social Recreation

Promise ABA hosts social recreational activities to facilitate sensory activities, social peer interaction, build community and meaningful relationships through art and music therapy. Art and music therapy are available to children and adults diagnosed with ASD and developmental disorders and are held in group settings of 2-10 participants with support from art and music therapists.
