What We Provide To You And Your Kids

Assessments

FBA- A Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) is a process that identifies specific target behavior, the purpose of the behavior, and what factors maintain the behavior that is interfering with the client’s developmental progress.

Home-Based ABA Services

Home-based ABA services offer personalized, in-context behavioral therapy within the familiar and comfortable environment of the client’s own home. This setting facilitates the practical application of skills as the therapy can integrate day-to-day activities and routines, such as meal times, play, and self-care tasks. The purpose is to improve functional behaviors while decreasing behaviors that may hinder learning or cause harm. With home-based ABA services, clinicians can closely work with family members, teaching them techniques to promote positive behaviors and effectively handle challenging ones. The ultimate goal is to facilitate generalization of skills across various settings and increase the individual’s independence, thus improving the quality of their life and those around them.

Center-Based ABA Services

Center-based ABA offers a structured environment where individuals can benefit from consistent, controlled conditions that are sometimes hard to maintain at home. This setting fosters the development of social skills as clients interact with peers and different therapists, promoting essential learning opportunities such as turn-taking, sharing, and collaborative play. Our center, located in Burbank, CA, has a variety of resources and equipment to facilitate learning in a fun, engaging manner. Regular parent training sessions are also provided to ensure the skills learned are generalized at home. With individualized attention and a comprehensive approach to skill-building, center-based ABA can catalyze remarkable progress in a person’s behavioral development.

Preference Assessment

An ABA preference assessment is a systematic method used to determine the items or activities that a person prefers and how strong those preferences are. This information is vital for designing effective ABA programs, as preferred items or activities can be used as potential reinforcers to motivate and encourage desired behaviors. This approach helps in creating a more personalized, efficient, and effective ABA intervention.

Supervision

We offer various types of supervision

Caregiver Training

Parent education in ABA equips caregivers with the knowledge and skills to support their child’s progress in daily life. It involves training parents to understand and apply ABA principles, helping them reinforce desired behaviors, manage challenging ones, and facilitate skill generalization outside of therapy sessions. By actively involving parents in the intervention process, this approach promotes consistency in treatment application, enhances the child’s outcomes, and empowers families to foster a supportive, nurturing environment for their child’s development.
